| Shilpa Shetty dominates the news today as winner of the British channel 4 Big Brother show. So while ALL TV channels are gushing out the Shilpa story, NDTV, a prime news channel devoted a full 12 mins of air time on the Bollywood beauty. But is it worth all the media blitz and attention? Maybe not but what with the TV endlessly regurgitating grim stories of war, hangings, storms, flooding and of wily politicians, I found it amusing, even welcome that a beautiful young woman had hogged almost half the entire news this morning. Keep it up Shilpa! |
